Awww look at the Arizonians getting all worked up because there are a couple of Mexicans in their backyards..

If any city has gone to shit, its Los Angeles. I'm Mexican myself and I absolutely hate going into any part of LA.
User avatar #104 to #100 - profflippystix (02/21/2013) [-]
yeah but california was shit to start with.

You're just jealous because it was named the happiest state in the country. But hey at least you can have fun at the beach....oh wait.

Yeah, because everyone is dying to live in Arizona. If it weren't for the hot white girls and the colleges, Arizona would practically be New Mexico, and we all know that's a shithole of a state.

I live in the shithole known as El Mirage. One of my neighbors has a rooster and I saw a stray chicken roaming around a couple of years ago. It's essentially Mexico with none of the cartel violence and all of the drugs. For most of the part it's peaceful, but one house down the road from mine has been the site of:

- A Murder (current owners)
- A meth lab (previous owners)
- A Chop Shop (current owners)

Then you hit Scottsdale where I'm from and alls you see are people driving their convertables and drinking 17 cups of starbucks a day. But other than that I love scottsdale. I couldnt live anywhere cold. Pic related sorta.

Tucson is just about 2 hours away from Phoenix and the Mexican community is really nice, the ones that are ass holes are usually the racist people here. Always making a big deal and discriminating everything.

I've only been to AZ three times.

One for Family Weekend (Bro went to U of A)
One for a vacation (We drove to some dragon hotel or something cause my dad had a doctor meeting there and they paid for the whole family)
One to just hang with my bro for the weekend (I got terribly terribly fucked up)

Never....go....to.....Nogales....The five minutes i was there i felt like i was going to get robed. Some guy was selling an elevator on the side of the road, and i didn't understand how, or where you acquire an elevator. He also had a tub inside of the elevator. Phoenix is fine for me..

i used to live in El Paso, went to juarez when i was bored.....EVERYONE GAVE ME A NASTY LOOK AND IM PRETTY SURE THE CARTEL WAS FOLLOWING ME UNTIL I CROSSED THE BORDER AGAIN
User avatar #49 to #32 - licestr (02/21/2013) [-]
I live in Nogales... I used to cross the border daily to go to school and then cross it back to get home. Unless you are stupid enough to believe anything they tell you you'll be fine. And by ''they'' i mean pretty much everyone, and don't ever, EVER, listen to the cops. they are like bandits with unoform.

Outside of that Mexico is a great place.

I thought Glendale was supposed to be that hip suburb for white people (hence why the new arena and stadium are there)
User avatar #41 to #28 - emmyizme (02/20/2013) [-]
That's the outer parts of Glendale. I believe this comment was speaking more about downtown Glendale. Pretty much all of the downtown "cities" fall under this, and the further away from the downtown areas you get, the snobbier you feel.
User avatar #48 to #41 - frenchfryy (02/21/2013) [-]
yeah it's called the white movement, where white people who feel threatened by lower classes and other races more more and more out of town, it's like that here in Green Bay, you go anywhere outside downtown Green Bay (west side or east side doesn't matter) it's white as snow (pun intended) there, go to downtown, black, hispanic, and Hmong are the majority there (it's not a bad thing I like diversity but this subtle racism makes it a VERY bad thing). Go to Howard, De Pere, Preble, Bellevue, or Allouez and it's very snobby (Howard and Allouez in particular).
User avatar #51 to #48 - emmyizme (02/21/2013) [-]
That's pretty much how it is here. I kind of live in the middle. Little less crime, but still plenty of diversity, and less snobbishness. Being only half black makes downtown a bit scary at night.

Woah now. I lived in Glendale, Peoria, and Avondale for a long ass time. Not all of it is Mexican.
User avatar #21 to #4 - oottovann (02/20/2013) [-]
In my hometown of Monroe, WA

There's a dividing line between the white middle class and the poor Mexicans.

I mean literally... You cross the street and BAM Little Mexico..

And the rich white people lived up the hill...

Goddamn it was segregated as fuck....
