I have The Killing Joke in hardcover on my shelf. It was totally worth the $20, fantastic comic.

It's a one shot comic which explains what happened to Batgirl becoming Oracle (Retconned by the New 52, but what the hey), and also makes the point that maybe Batman and the Joker aren't so different at all.

You think? It says Barnes and Nobles right in the picture. Also, how could you be oblivious to what store you're walking into? Especially when it's B&N.

Well I wouldn't say that, Batman did beat Owlman, which is an evil copy in an alternate universe.

So technically he did..... twice... there's another where he beats Batman

I'm preparing for red thumbs as I say this.

I don't believe Batman is a super hero. A hero, yes. But a super hero implies that he has super powers. He is nothing more than a smart, rich man with martial arts training. With the same logic, James Bond is a super hero (which I would say he isn't).

Also, I think Spiderman could beat Batman any day. He has webs, spidey senses and is much more agile than Batman.

If Spiderman was a villain (or say Venom) attacked Batman without Batman knowing Spiderman's existence, Spidey would win. However, if Batman survives he'll study Spiderman and make gadgets to dissolve web (for example) meaning he could defeat Spidey when Batman tracked him down.

Exactly, the best way to kill Batman would be to either snipe him as Bruce Wayne, or to be strong like Bane or Killer Croc or Clayface; to counter-attack Batman's training with enhanced durability and strength and just wail on him.

1) batman technically has two super powers: money. brains
Not all of us have these

2) With a random battle. Spiderman will win hands down. He'll nulify batman's stealth with his spider sense.
However, batman NEVER enters a fight without research and a way to give himself leverage. If this were a planned fight, then batman would win.

Any super hero battle is SITUATIONAL.
