I'm pretty sure there is no archaeological evidence to support that the jews were ever enslaved in egypt, I' pretty sure the accounts of that are from the bible, so it's safe to assume the jews had nothing to do with it

Most of the work was done primarily in the flood season, when the farmers' crops couldn't be grown/planted. So they worked on the pyramids, even though they didn't get paid much. There weren't a lot of actual slaves building the pyramids, much less Jew, much less Jewish slaves.

Actually, the farmers would work on the pyramids when the nile flooded farmlands during the months of August-September. Considering the Egyptians use of advanced technology such as aqueducts I don't think drought would really effect em to much?

But they didn't. Egyptians did. Most people think it was Jewish slaves, while in fact the Jews were enslaved (if even that, there is debate) in Egypt long after the pyramids were built.

Actually it was a form of public service. During the off season fro farming citizens were brought in to work on public construction projects like the pyramids and were payed for the service.

I learned it was both. It was public service and also an honor because people believed if they helped it would lead to better rewards in the afterlife. I may be wrong though.

It was during the flood season of the year that they built them so the farmers had nothing to do. The pay was a welcome boon to the families and building on them made it according to their beliefs much easier to enter the afterlife.
