That would almost be a decent argument is Romney wasn't such an awful ******* choice.

What makes you say Romney was an awful choice other than the fact that he was a white conservative and your assumption that all republicans are evil dicks out to re-institute slavery?

He wanted to create a ban on porn. Enough said.

I mean, seriously. The only arguments I've heard against this is "it would never pass" and "it would be easy to get around" -- so, what, I'm supposed to vote for him because the majority of the psychotic oppressive laws he wants to pass either won't get through congress or can be circumvented? Alternatively, I could just vote for Obama.

So the average working man votes for Ron Paul? Good to know.

Also good to know that if it wasn't for those gosh dern welfare check collecting hippies, right now our country would be led by a glorious president who ended up getting less than 5% of the total votes.

Not saying the average working man voted for Ron Paul. Also not saying that a guy who gets a small amount of the votes is going to win. I'm trying to say that, as of now, people look at the US and see ONLY the two major parties. Why? Because that's how the media presents the data. They intentionally leave out the majority of the information yet people continue to flock to their television screens and computers looking at just the two choices that are immediately obvious. If people took the time to look deeper and examine more of the candidates they might actually find people that would make them say "I actually want to vote for this guy" instead of "I'm just going to vote for what I think is the lesser of two evils".

I am well aware of that, but I don't see what that has to do with my post. This post is essentially complaining about Romney not being elected, because he was really the only other candidate that stood even a remote chance.
