This **** again. National average IQ is NOT the same over the world. The national average IQ (of the US) is being compared to the global average by anon and pretty much everyone using IQ as an argument for a countries intelligence.

I'm an atheist conservative, and even though I strongly disagree with much of what Obama says, it would be a terrible national tragedy to have any president assassinated. And think of this, if Obama were to be assassinated for his policy, do you think people would understand that? No, they'd jump straight to racism. I guarantee there would be a ******** of riots.

It would, yes. I personally disagree with what Obama is doing, but not to the point where I want him dead. What I'm saying is that if one of them had to die, I'd rather have Obama die. I know, death isn't good, but it's if I didn't have a choice between Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama to both live.

If Abe survived John Wilkes Booth's shooting, he could of just given African Americans rights after the Civil War.

Thank you for not throwing your Opinion at me, like half of this site does, though. I appreciate it.

Lets talk about some real numbers.
if we take out the programs like social security for the elderly (unless you think its unfair granma who worked her whole life gets a little money to not starve) and people with extremely serious disability (unless you think they should starve) percentage of people who get actual welfare is 4.1% americans.
Out of that, 5.600.000 are getting unemployment benefits. And 46.700.000 are getting food stamps.
Most people on food stamps are people who HAVE a job, but a minimum wage job and fall under the poverty line. Usually families with only one person working, or large familes with two people working. "The working poor"

Oh, btw, social welfare get 59 billion a year, while corporate subsidies get 92 billion a year. Large chunk (more then 30%) of that goes to banks and oil companies, who are reporting record profits since early 20th century, while our gas and credit is most expensive in 60 years.

And last thing. Since 2001 we spent 708 billion on welfare. In same period we spent 1 TRILLION, 424 BILLION on Iraq war.

"seriously injured" take out all the fraudulent claims in a broken system and we'll talk..

social security wouldn't be such a burden if it wasn't everyone else paying for you..if you got back what you put in (like a forced savings which would make about 300x as much sense) it wouldn't be any kind of a burden on society with the absolutely staggering amount of baby boomers about to go in to retirement

unemployment should be reformed but all in all it's a good program for a lot of people

food stamps were designed to support under half a million people not 47 million

and corporate subsidies actually generate revenue..do you have any idea how much of the 4$ a gallon at the pump goes right in to uncle Sams pockets? or how many of those subsidies keep companies here in the U.S rather than based in Singapore or china where trade regulations and taxes are so much more profitable it makes no sense to stay here BOOSTING our economy without them?

tl;dr liberal children make cute arguments until you actually think about them for 5 minutes

lets ralk about real life

That could all very well be true, lets assume it is.
Most people who get food stamps have a ****** ass job, because they what- weren't handed some 6 digit salary? or could it be they didn't finish their schooling, never saw an opportunity, and never went looking for one, so they took what was actually offered. for this, we will exclude the minority of people with ****** jobs because they decided high school was the ideal time to start a family.

Is it unfortunate that people have to live like this? you're damn straight. Do I have sympathy for them? Not really.

How did our gas become the most expensive in 60 years? How the **** did that happen. Now you have used then rather than than. Whats up with that man.
And why did your argument become purely economical, are you the second coming of Marx? you should also be philosophical then, socome up with some solutions- way to measure wars on costs, not lives. we shouldn't give the police body armor, as that costs money and will only save their lives.

We have a family of four and make less than $10,000 a year collectively. You don't see us complaining about being "working poor" asking for handouts from the government. We have all the basic necessities along with a decent speed internet. Your "working poor" are all just trying to live above their means. It isn't that hard not to. Furthermore, while Obama is decreasing spending on the war, he is replacing that spending with worse spending on programs that aren't really needed and increasing our debt like theirs no tomorrow. Of course, who cares, he is a blcka president and he is giving money to the poor. Yay Obama.

I have no problem GIVING to people to help them.

I give charitable monies away all the time.

I don't need Da Gub'mint taking ANY of my money to GIVE to anyone else.

If nobody gives, then we don't have a charitable culture. Too Bad. That's still better than having a culture where the Government decides where wealth goes.
