Great Britain is a consitutional monarchy. Not a Democracy. If the Queen decides that she doesn't like a piece of legislation that's being put through then she stops it. End of.

if the queen ever decided to not run a piece of legislation parliament could just vote to get rid of her... end of.

She doesn't have that power. She hands over her power to the Prime Minister. Trust me anon, I'm as Britfag as they come.

She can however remove a Prime Minister, but much like impeachment with American presidents, it is a rarity that has only happened once or twice in British history. There's no real need to remove them usually unless they are REALLY ******* up.

So why doesn't she just get rid of him?

He's not been THAT **** . It should only be used as a drastic measure and there would be heavy criticism if she did.

The queen doesn't control **** . Parliament runs everything dumbass. The queen is just a "figurehead" she has no power what so ever.

no, that's what happens at Spain. At GB, she's above the parliament
