YUPPIE is Young Urban Professional, it's basically a dig on the materialistic younger generation that have no responsibilities I think?

You got the first part right but it isn't to do with people with no responsibilities, Yuppies were members of the upper-middle/upper class usually in their 20s-30s concerned with wealth and social status amongst their peers and not much else. A prime example of Yuppies would be in American Psycho (the book and the film) Patrick Bateman's entire circle of friends, and Bateman himself are essentially all Yuppies.
