I assume you're referring to the Patriot Act. Yes, it allows the US to spy on citizens, but that doesn't mean you're constantly under surveillance, it just means that they are allowed to do so if they feel it's necessary. (is this okay? well, no, but it's not a conspiracy.)

I don't at the moment but I look at the facts and determined what I believed.

1. There is a shit ton of footage from hundreds of dash cams, its just none of them were as interesting as the few "cool ones" shown on the media.

2. meteors do not explode, but newscasters arent exactly astronomers and neither is the average russian. If the big thing in the sky flashed brightly and then I heard a huge bang, i would assume it exploded, regardless of the fact that its just the noise of the air being superheated as the meteor broke the sound barrier.

3. this meteor was high-balling 5 meters across, the size of a pick up truck before it broke up into thumb sized pieces along with a few basketball sized fragments. In case you didnt know, russia is kinda big.
