I don't know about yours but in my place there are a lot of people who actually have no idea what maths are for neither apreciate them because of it. They just think "the only thing you're going to use maths is for basic arithmetical operations and that's what calculators are for!". Furthermore, they suck so much at basic calculus that they can believe you if say something in the topic of "the 20% of 546 is 80" wich even if you a priori don't know how much it exactly is (unless you actually calculate it) you see how obviously wrong this is. And the ones who actually don't suck, they won't calculate it because they are too lazy for that.

I've always loved math :D Probably because I understand it well.. But kids in my class that dont even know how to multiply.. sigh.. Just makes me sad. I can understand that some people dont learn as easy as others but saying that math is bullshit, useless ect. just makes me wanna kick the shit out of them..

If YOU are one of those who are kinda slow with math.. Never give up, you will thank yourself later on if you work hard
