I don't know that an upload limit is the solution. I personally, had a content that I uploaded, which people wanted more of, so I made a second part, which didn't do nearly as well. I figured people lost interest, or weren't able to find it because after a certain amount of time, you can't edit a description (so I couldn't add the link to part two in the first part's description.) The next time I made a multi-parter (you might remember it, it was really cool pictures. It was called Amazing Pictures Comp) I posted all five parts within an hour and change, and they all hit front page, all parts getting in the top 15, I think. As of now, (which probably isn't going to change) they have 19,860 thumbs total. (Which really doesn't matter to me, I'm just happy people saw them and liked them.) I absolutely think that if they hadn't been posted so closely time-wise, then people wouldn't have seen all 5 parts. I think that maybe the solution would be to either increase (or even remove) the red thumb limit. I know I personally can't stand when I can't thumb down a spammers comments. Something more practical would be to decrease the time between red-thumbing or to increase the number of red tumbs a user can give to a particular user.

tl;dr Increase red thumb limit, or decrease cooldown time between red thumb limits.
