Out of all the contemporary pop singers I can think of, I have by far the most respect for Adele (and yes, it's arguable whether her music is technically "pop", but in the "popular" sense she more than qualifies). She's how the system is supposed to work: she didn't get where she is because of teenage boys wanting to fuck her or any stupid bullshit she pulls for attention, she got there because she's goddamn good at what she does.

Same age, huh? I wouldn't have guessed. Adele doesn't look all that old, really, but Swift does look younger.

I don't like either of their music but i can at least respect Adele as an artist, she seems to understand that human emotion isn't black and white.
