the Schrodinger's theory

You put a cat in a box with two capsules set to time release at random times. One is filled with poison, one is filled with water. Because the cat is sealed in the box, no one knows if the poison or the water has opened, so theoretically, the cat is BOTH dead and alive. It's called the Schrodinger's theory.

You didn't describe Schrodinger's Theory correctly.. but ok

Here's some science.

Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment about quantum physics. It was proposed by Erwin Schrödinger.

A cat is placed in a room that is shielded from the environment. A Geiger counter and a little bit of a radioactive element are in the room. Within some time, say one hour, one of the atoms of the radioactive element may decay, or it may not. The Geiger counter can of course measure that. If it does measure the decay, it will release some poisonous gas, which will kill the cat.

The question now is: at the end of the hour, is the cat alive or dead?

Schrödinger's interpretation is that as long as the door is closed, the cat is both dead and alive in dual superposed quantum states. When the door is opened, the quantum states are made known and the cat is observed to be either alive or dead.

The problem exists in that by opening the room, the person is interfering with the experiment. The person and the experiment have to be described with reference to each other. By merely looking at the experiment the person has influenced the experiment.

Umm.... You kinda ****** up that explanation of Schrodinger's experiment, where did that water come from?

Only a retard could **** up a thought experiment like that.

For ***** sake, it's not a theory, it's a thought experiment. It was originally created by a man named Schrodinger (no **** ), and it's purpose was to show just how silly he thought the Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics was.

A theory is an extensively tested phenomenon with significant evidence, such as gravity.

******* Science posers and their goddamn cat.

That's not what the theory is about at all, it was produced to come up a situation that would pose the question of when exactly quantum superposition ends and reality collapses into one possibility or the other. The 'cat' being alive or dead is to show that the quantum superposition is unobservable, so we really have no way of knowing. People that are all "Hurr durr, it's a cat, and you don't know if it's dead or alive." are stupid. And it's a cat, a flask of poison, and a radioactive source are placed in a sealed box. If an internal monitor detects radioactivity (i.e. a single atom decaying), the flask is shattered, releasing the poison that kills the cat, not water. The more you know, asshat.

If the dominant one is still there you can have children. Only one of them produces sperm actively if i'm not mistaken.
