I've always wondered, why the fuck do people still live in Gotham? I mean, there's CONSTANT shenanigans going on, wouldn't any logical person get the fuck out?

my theory is that one day will gotham run out of people, joker and all other villains constantly kill people, but batman lets them live and they get out and kill again

Gotham City is the most biggest city in that world. It´s like New York City (I don't know if NY is the biggest city in the world, but I mean that Gotham is like NY in it's place in the world. Both have a huge influence in the world.)

Sure, people move, but could you imagine everyone in NY moving away?

Besides, in the comic book world, every big city has it's super willians and it's heroes to stop them. That's just the comic book world.

And yeah, they've got Batman watching over them, so they're cool.
