How about this badass who got stranded at sea for 47 days with ************* sharks and Japanese bombers while he was only in a tiny raft and when he finally reached land guess where he landed at. A Japanese POW camp where he was tormented until the end of WW2. This man is a true hero.

How's he a hero? All he did was survive. I give him props for his experience and all but it's not like he saved anyone

You make it sound like he was alone. He was with 2 other guys and one of them died after 33 days.

Not ghost images. Actual pictures. It's understandable with most historical figures, but I'm pretty sure a couple of pictures of that WWII vet from before he was 80 exist.
