As a fellow Non-American not understanding this, I think I understand it now.
-Fro has $18,200 on the show.
-You're able to bet an amount of money you have on a question and it's revealed.
-He bet 18,000 of it meaning if he got it wrong, he lost the 18,000, if he got it he won 18,000 more.
-Fro got it.
-Last question, the person with the most money wins $75,000. He was in the lead but might not have won if the others bet enough money and got it right, but he took another risk and assumed they wouldn't beat him. He made this joke betting $0 and got lucky again and won.

That was a ballsy move, wagering $18,000 on a Daily Double. That kid is going places
Woah, i watched this yesterday and i can say, i would hang out with this guy he knows his shit about games but seriously 1000 points for "In 2011 Microsoft released a add on to the Xbox that aloud you to use you hands as the controller what was it?"
The second I saw this happen on jeopardy last night, I knew it would end up somewhere on the internet
...But what does this have to do with the internet? Shouldn't he be the God of televised game shows?
