4.Why would this be written did the crew member lose his communicator and think the ship was watching him? and if so why would he take a shit when the bridge crew was watching? the later would also defeat the purpose of the message.

Just because some random person made an inaccurate joke doesn't mean you should get offended. Everyone knows that it was never said, but it's a joke for fucks sake. Get over it, many things I like are shit on constantly, but because it's Star Trek, everyone now has the right to be offended? No. That's not how this works. If you're offended, leave. You'll be better off. If you can get over it and make fun of the inaccuracies, instead of flipping shit like some neckbearded retard at a Sci-Fi convention.

whyfalsewhy (02/13/2013) [-] I'll point out that you won't make a very good cop, i have kept my temper on here yet you have lost yours, you have stated that no one has a right to be offended but under the american constitution everyone has the right to free speech you should know this being a cop, also as a cop if someone is causeing an disruption and an offence you move the offencive person along not the peaceful one do you not? (Unless they are a danger to the peaceful ones that is)
Star Trek is not my favorite show although reading back it's my fault you think that, but i would defend anything i like by educating the people who laugh at what is not true i have done this with the halo universe and even did it with MLP even though i am not a fan of it.
(I gave MLP a chance and finished season 1 enjoyed it but wasn't for me because i wasn't rushing to watch season 1 however i have sat and watched an episode or 2 with my little sister because there was nothing else on lol)
