Speaking of C.S. Lewis. Everyone knows he wrote the Chronicles of Narnia and everyone knows that has an underlying Christian message. What you didn't know was the connection between him and J.R. Tolkein. The Lord of the Rings also has an underlying Christian message, just far less obvious than Lewis, which Tolkein didn't approve of. But what Tolekin set out to do was create a whole new mythological world. We all know the Hobbit and the classic trilogy. But before the Hobbit there is a prelude to that, a Genesis-type story, and in betweem the Hobbit and the trilogy, there are 12 volumes of character development, language origin, geography, and all this fantastic information. This relates to Lewis because had Lewis not died prematurely, the stories of Narnia and LOTR were going to combine into one story. Some of you may know this, but I think it's so damn fascinating and you all can continue on

I actually have a book on C.S.Lewis's life. Tolkein was the one who brought C.S.Lewis to God, and they were best friends. (Someone should def. do a C.S.Lewis Comp!!!)
