It seems to me Atheists have the same problem on this site...

Imagine my frustration when my retarded class mates ask me what the atheist god is called, or what do we use in prayers instead of a cross. They're too dumb to troll so I just can't believe how retarded they are.

Seriously, though, a few friends of mine have created shrines to Atheimos on Minecraft servers here and there. It's funny sometimes to watch their shit storms.

Well, look at it this way. If you had a philosophy, a way of life that invoked such joy in your own life, and hope that it will not end with death, would you not think yourself kind to try and spread it?
This is, of course, assuming that we're not dealing with the butthurt variety of Christians. They're just massive assholes, in my experience.

As a general rule in life i see more Atheists being intollerent asshole than Christians.

I see more of this frustrated kids posting atheist content than christians promoting chistianity.

My church and all the churches in my area are fully supportive of gays, many of the churches nearby have many gay or lesbian members and no one cares.

So in my day to day life, I more often see Atheists being intolerant.

And for that i respect you, but in general (and i guess the reason can
be attributed to the fact that there are more religious people than atheists)
religious people show much more intolerance than non religious, simply because
"their religion forbids" such things (not just gays, but much more), making a
statement based on an area which probably consists of less that 0.001% of
religious people in the world is a bit too vague.

there is no way 0.001% of religious don't hate gays, it's way more than that, people seem to just assume that christianity and catholicism are always the same, hell about 95% of quakers accept gays

I was saying that you used the religious people in your area as an example, and
just the religious people in your area (and only the ones you know) most
likely consist of less than 0.001% of religious people worldwide, and that is quite
a low number to use in a debate like this, i never said 0.001% are in favor of
gay marriage, in fact i'd well believe the number is closer to at least 30ish%+ to
be honest, but that's is beyond the point, look at any non bias news website and
i implore you to find even 1 report on intolerance that wasn't committed by,
or because of, religion.... and not just intolerance toward gays...
Anyway, i'm done with this debate, much like any other religious debate it
is pointless, i guess i can find solace in the fact that you personally aren't one of
the many intolerant religious bigots, and for that i am thankful, but they exist, as
a majority and a huge outnumber to intolerant atheist bigots (and yes, those
exist too), that much is obvious and clear.

I'm an atheist that doesn't denounce any persons opinion, as long as that
persons actions based on said opinion don't have a negative impact on the lives
of others, then they can simply go and die....

My atheist friend, you and I are in absolute agreement, save our religious view. I wish more atheists and theists (generalized term for the sake of why the fuck not) could share this viewpoint.
