maybe, because in germany everything gets recycled .. not sure - i live in germany and i produce a pretty big amount of trash.

Germany is pretty obsessive about recycling. They typically have at least 4 separate bins and there can be hefty fines for improper recycling

oh achso. Stehen die Sternchen dann für Sauberkeit oder so? Naja egal ^^ , aber du hast recht. Die Mülleimer sind leer, dafür liegen in den Büschen genug Bierflaschen oder anderes Pfand. Ich versteh auch nicht wirklich wieso Wasserflaschen mehr Pfand haben als Bierflaschen. Sollte anders rum sein..

I don't know about the littering, but I'd like one Euro for each time that I saw someone pee on the sidewalk in Helsinki (and for every time that I saw someone take a crap in the bushes), and these were usually drunk older guys.
