...And each week, millions of Americans (some of them being the same ones who went to church) volunteer their time at homeless shelters, missions, soup kitchens, charities and schools. They recycle, car pool, organize fundraisers, raise awareness for various issues, and in general help to reduce the overall worldsuck.

I'm begging to realize more and more how worthless the majority of human beings are.
We separate ourselves into "distinctive groups" when in reality, most of us are the very same hypocritical ignorant pieces of trash.
I've met atheists, I've met religious people, both can be equally stupid or equally an asshole. This argument isn't invalid, but it applies to just about fucking everyone. And that's the thing here, so many people point the finger when they don't' even practice what the fuck they preach.
Now I'm not religious but I am spiritual, if I ever picked up anything like that it would be Buddhism. There is this one Buddhist guy that lives up the street. Man is so fucking cash and calm and happy all the time. He really gives off some good vibes.
Anyways, this was probably uploaded by some school kid retard. Not to say all young people are stupid, that's just more fucking ignorance, and I know some bastards assumed that's what I meant. This is the kind of shit I'm talking about here.

That is more of a statement about the upper middle class, americans, etc. rather than Christianity.
Christianity on the whole is a rather "good" thing, it has led to a lot of good stuff.
That being said, it has led to some 'bad" stuff.
That also being said, my personal belief is that spirituality is good, great even, the belief that there is a higher power that rewards you for being a decent person, that is awesome.
Religion, the divisions that are made between Hinduism and Judaism, between Judaism and Christianity, between Catholics and orthodox Christians, Protestants and Catholics, Mormons and Methodists, etc.
Those divisions just serve to separate people fro each other.

This post is just ignorant. The Catholic church is the largest charity in the world, which donates and runs thousands of homeless shelters, food pantries, adoption agencies, schools, gives billions of hours of service every year. Don't come at me with that bull.
