I prefer Dead Space second person over the shoulder point of view. That always makes the best angle.

wait wait wait
I may have had the best idea ever
guise, hear me out...
first person = the player
third person = someone not involved (same as he/she in grammar and ****)
so... guise... second person would be... your enemy
now think about it, playing a game in second person, seeing through the eyes of your pray... that could actually be awesome

So when there's no enemy around, you don't see where are you going?

That could actually be something. The only thing is that it would take a lot of skill from the developers to actually make the game playable in this manner.
It would be revolutionary.

It's called third person. A difference in the angle doesn't make it second person.

Hey, dumbass. It's called second person because you are playing as if you are behind him, looking over his shoulder.
But, it's ok, thanks for making me look like a ******* retard..

Is there even a such thing as 2nd person? Never understood it in literature either.

second person is inclusive. e.g. first person is I did this stuff, third person is jack did this stuff, second person is we did this stuff.

So a second person point of view would be multiple viewpoints

second person also includes you did this stuff. So it would be like if you're point of view is someone next to you or the enemy...which is rly stupid in shooting games.

so what, you'd be seeing it from the view of your team-mates/allies or something?
