I used to be a big Stormcloak supporter, then I started to wonder what would happen after Ulfric took power. I did some digging and alot of thinking and I made sense of some things. Now I support the Imperial Legion and I have a good reason why.
If you read the letter about Ulfirc in the Thalmor Embassy is talks about his past
Ulfric was a Legate in the Imperial Army and Rikke was a Captain under him
During a Dominion Raid Ulfric was captured and questioned for a few days, the Legion thinking he was dead promoted Rikke to Legate to take control of his forces
Elenwen, the Thalmor Ambassador, is the one captured and tortured Ulfric
Elenwen told Ulfric that thanks to the info they beat out of him, that the Imperial City had fallen. It wasnt true the City had fallen days before.
Elenwen then brainwashed Ulfric to go back to Skyrim and start an uprising to rid Skyrim of the Legion and make it a seperate Country
Thats why the Thalmor support the Stormcloaks.
If you fight for the Stormcloaks and Ulfric takes over, he goes into Thalmor Sleeper Agent Mode and hands over Skyrim to the Dominion
in the furture anyway
Ulfric, sadly, is a Thalmor Sleeper Agent
So fighting for the Stormcloaks is handing Skyrim to the Dominion
