I know that feel, man. That's how it was for me in university. As well as at home. Still is. It does get to me sometimes. But school and playing guitar/listening to music always helps.

ive never understood why guys think some girls are bitches just because they were nice to them and then didnt ask them to come over to fuck. do you automatically fall in love with anyone who is nice to you? no, so why would girls? also every guy wants a knockout girl and wont settle for less than beautiful girls, meanwhile there are a ton of lonely girls who looks are in league with the looks of the "friend zone-e"

Not necessarily. Sometimes girls have morals too and they just don't want to move on past a friendship because the breakup would be horrific. Some girls want to remain friends after relationships (never happens) so imagine if you dated your best friend of X amount of years and then you guys break up, you'd hate each other.

Just saying, I'm still friends with my girlfriend from highschool. I actually drive 6 hours every 6 months or so to visit her. So yea, remaining friends is completely possible.

well i broke the "friend zone" with a girl and it worked out horrifically so i know how it is. however i would say most (90%) of the time they are just letting you down easy. ive used the "friend zone" excuse to girls too, and im sorry but it was because they were ugly/fat/awkward. it was about a million times easier then telling them why i really didnt want to be in a relationship with them cause itd upset them so much. compare this with how nice most girls are and it becomes clearer why they choose the friend zone excuse even though in the long run it may fuck a guy up more

I just broke outta the friendzone a few months back and I'm still with her. We've known each other since 7th grade and didn't really become close friends till about 11th grade (now first year college/uni students). but yea, I've had to use the friendzone excuse too due to the same reasons you did. So, I feel pretty stupid for saying what I said before. I mean, I feel like an asshole letting people down like that, but I gotta tell you; they had it coming.

Trust me, its much better to friend zone than try to date a girl when you really aren't attracted to her. I had a horrible relationship once cause of that.
