Ugh, how many times does this need to be established? Kids of today aren't worse than what you were. You were still probably a little bastard and there has always been kids that were disciplined and those who weren't. I was fairly behaved due to my parents upbringing and my dad being a scary bastard. But there were also kids whos parents didn't give a fuck. So please, stop this, it's getting old.

I look at kids now and I just shake my head. Parents are too afraid to actually punish their kids. They're afraid of "oh no, what if he hates me." I'm pretty sure being a PARENTS comes first and being a friend comes after, way after. When I was growing up my parents would smack my mouth if I cussed at them or talked back. When I was punished, I was actually punished. If I misbehaved, broke a rule or got in trouble in school I was sent to my room and grounded. By grounded I don't mean my parents just said "you're grounded" and then let me do what ever. When I was grounded I wasn't allowed to watch Tv, play video games, see my friends, talk on the phone, or anything. The most I was allowed to do when I was grounded was read books and do my chores. My groundings lasted anywhere from a week to a month.

Looking back on my parents and how they punished me. I thank them for making me realize when I fucked up and not to be an entitled twat.

TL;DR: Parents need to stop reading those "How to parent" books and stop trying to be their child's friend. They need to grow some fucking balls and teach their kids not to be cunts.

TL;DR: Kids these days need real fucking discipline to stay in line.

Why cant parents just dicipline their kids right?
If they do something wrong,give them a warning.
They do it again give them a 2nd warning but with a death glare that this is the final time.(too let them know that you can give them another chance)

Thats how i would do it..
Dont beat the shit out of them and Dont just let them do whatever they want.

Every generation in the history of time has pissed and moaned nonstop about how "kids these days" are disprespectful and untiligent. I'm getting pretty tired of hearing about how if my parents had beaten me a little more, I'd be a better person. My generation may not be the best there's ever been, but it's no worse than anyone else's. The "greatest generation" as everyone refers to people my grandparents age as may have been harder working than us, but they were also racist, sexist, and overall intolerant. Every generation has their faults. This one happens to be an unusually large supply of idiots.
