i wonder if whoever thumbed me down has ever been to amsterdam or newcastle. they have the most insane transport system i have ever seen in amsterdam with 6 lanes of traffic to cross to get to the other side of the road (which is hard enough at the best of times but when you're there for a couple of days, you're most likely baked) and the majority of road users are cyclists being braver than i am dodging trams with 2 or 3 kids in their modified bikes.

getting on the sweaty metro from newcastle airport to central station to be accosted by a drunk sket in search of 30p to buy a can of cider because his mum's sick ('how man, gee us 30 pence') just depressed me. that's all i was saying.

plus we don't have any coffee shops here, have to visit rasta steve!
