I love, it's alot more art oriented and poetic than you might think though, everyone assumes it's like engineering, it's like a blend of engineering and poetry/art.

what grade are you in? Focus on drawing, that's the most important.

Ok well first year they work on your art skills, drawing, drafting, and basically your design process, which is essential. in the later years they teach CAD, and structures and codes and stuff like that.

Currently bad. We not building jack ****. But places like India and China that are rapidly developing could have money. Give it a few years until the economy clears up.

I'm currently in my second semester of architecture school, so I'm hoping that by the time I graduate, and possibly graduate grad school there will be plenty of options.

On a side note I meant where does architecture fall in the two graphs, I would say somewhere in between but wanted to hear what others thought.

Woops sorry. Up late and not thinking straight.

Put it this way. Im good at History. Some people can't do History for beans. Im a bad math student. Some people laugh at numbers. If i had to take several math classes id jump off a bridge...I would then wake up in a math class from a pleasant dream. Quality of life in college all depends on what you are good at.

I just looked up salary for architects. They make aggressively medium money. Low pay is 30-40k median is 50-80k and high is around 100k. Pretty good pay check by any standards.

Yeah see I knew going in the money wouldn't be astounding, but I figured if I'm going to be working for most of my life, I might as well be doing something challenging and enjoyable. And it's all good I'm tired too haha.

Aggressively medium money was a joke from "How i met your mother" Where the main character is a architect. No but architects make out quite nice.

It's essentially a form of engineering and will always be a necessary role in our ever-evolving society. You're pretty safe, as long as you do it right.
