My dad died.

My dad passed away a few years ago, and if it ever comes up in a conversation, to this day, the very second everyone hears it, it gets so fucking awkward. So I have to try and make everyone else feel comfortable again, it's really a weird thing. Like yeah, it's a sad topic, but everyone gets all hush hush and no one wants to say a word anymore. It's life, it happens.

I know that feel bro, my friend passed away 7 months ago. After falling into psychotic depression he committed suicide, it would be so much easier to tell people he fought cancer or got killed by a drunk driver, it's just not an easy conversation.
