The final blow for me quitting games was my brother never letting me play Rock Band or Grand Theft Auto. Even when I could I didn't, because I realized the time was limited anyways and it wasn't worth it to play it much. It's not exactly a universal thing to lose interest in games, there are people that've played them for around 30 years now and never get sick of them.
