The effect is mediocre at best. Quite frankly, if you aren't spamming and pushing quick with big attackers like Red-eyes darkness metal dragon, Lightpulsar or Darkflare, then you are doing dragons (more specifically, chaos dragons) wrong.

If you were to create a lockdown with Lady of D. and DNA Surgery, it would be very easy to break. Meta cards like Dark hole or Soul taker are good choices for killing the Lady herself. Mystical space Typhoon and Heavy storm if you are just going to kill the DNA surgery. Quite frankly, she would never be worth running in any competitive dragon deck. Or you could wait for her or the dragons to attack and Mirror force and Dimensional prison them. Even a simple compulsory evacuation device would do. Too easy to break her lock on the field, too situational, waste of a normal summon too.

I didn't even mention E-Hero's in my argument...so you might want to go back and re-read it.

Me talking down the DNA surgery combo was for the people lower down in the comments. Also while it may have been your point, it came across as a complete non sequitur. It wasn't very clear.

My argument is that the card is bad overall and only serves to fill a niche tech slot in low end dragon decks. I would not dare run that card in Dragunity. Dragunity focuses so heavily on their normal summon each turn, making for big synchro plays. Interfering with that by bringing out a Lady of D is just silly. It will only slow you down. You need to turbo through your deck, setting up the ravine + dux plays in the early game. I can see how the discard effect could pay off. Negate the destruction, send the phalanx to the grave and stops your game winners being attacked. It just doesn't seem like enough to make it worth putting in the deck. It slows down the combo plays, it doesn't aid in the push that Dragunity make, it can only serve to make your generic 6's, not your main 6 the 3 Vajrayana.

I can't see any reason to use this as a tech choice in the Dragunity deck. Maybe you like the card, I just don't. It doesn't speak to the competitive player in me. I doubt you would see this in any competitive dragon deck. It is too slow for what it is.

Also I apologise for being condescending previously, but I do get quite serious when it comes to Yugioh, especially from a competitive stand point.
