I am mortaly offended good sir. Everypony know that Luna is the best pony of all, and the most powerful princess to boot, and we all know that Zevran is the most awesome companion, although Leliana is the best romance.

Well, Merrill is best romance really, if we take into acount all games.

Its going back to Origins gameplay, and i think you can chose your race to.

I thought they were taking the "best" of both games and combining them, and that for voice reasons you can only be human, but I'm not certain. I would like the origin stories back though. They added depth.

Right? Humans don't make good rogues. I love rogues, Elves make good rogues. But as long as the combat styles is Origins style then i will play it. And if the ranger is back.

Combat doesn't matter all that much to me. I play the game for the story really. As long as I'm not wielding a sword three times the lenght of my body like it was a wooden stick I'm happy. The speed and look of the combat in origins was admittedly rather boring, but in Dragon age 2 it was so over the top you could almost scream. A golden middle path seems alright.

But the story and the characters is the most essential. Not how many thugs attack me along the path.

Maybe they will let you chose which one.
Also non repeating dungeons would be cool.
And not being able to dual wield swords kinda upset me. They basically only got rid of the things i liked from origins to 2.

Don't think they have time to develope more than one fighting system. What with EA owning them and all.
Yeah, the repeating caves was annoying. It was like "This is the lyrium tunnels," alright, I can swing with that, then "Theese are the slave caves of old," right, perhaps they were used for both... "These are the ruins of a Tevinter temple" you serious? "These tunnels lead to the gallows" and so on. Infuriating.

Also, Kirkwall was tiny.

Although, I liked the partners in 2. I couldn't deal with the rogue partners in it. Zevran was great. I used him when i played a warrior.

Yeah, some of the companions in Da 2 were cool. Most actually. Except for Fenris. He's character was basicly: "MAAAAGGGGGGEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!" . Which was cool for a bit, then got rather dull.

I switched a lot between Zev and Leliana. Played most of my games as a warrior, and I normaly romanced Leliana, so I took her with me for a lot of quests. Zev is still the most awesome though.

Well, I liked seeing Anders again. and Merrill again was even cooler.

Yeah, although Anders lost a bit of his style I feel, he was a funny mage, and thne he was just about "Teeeeeemplaaaarrrrsssssm" and "Fucking blood mages".

Merrill was awesome though. Especially since my main playthrough was as a Dalish.
