I can understand why you guys might think that people who get engaged after a short period of time are stupid but I think we all need to remember that it is a case case scenario. My mum and dad got engaged after 3 months and have been married for 25 years or so. Me and my boyfriend got engaged after 8 months and that was in late 2011, we set the date for 2014, after we finish University. I guess it just depends on the scenarios and how loyal and level headed people are in relationships. Most people in relationships at our age are fucking retards tbf.

happypancake (02/06/2013) [-] While I don't really dispute people getting engaged early (I mean, hey, you get engaged whenever you want, don't let anyone stop you), I always thought that if you're theoretically going to be with someone the rest of your life, then you might as well wait 10 years or so before getting married. I mean, you'd be together anyway, it wouldn't really change much.
