do you honestly think this is the one isolated case of religion being bad? Do you have any clue how much conflict stems from it? Let's just ignore the fact that people were fucking killed for not following the church blindly, religion is never wrong. Let's ignore that pretty much every attempt humans made at progress by overthrowing a horrible ruler, making discoveries, research, etc. are all protested heavily by religion. Religion is a horrible thing and there is a lot more than just this that supports that idea
