ah, just saw the memorial post for the sniper.

The man who shot him was suffering from post-traumatic stress. He took him to a gun range, and the disorder triggered.

o be honest being in the army is way too glorified these days. These guys are treated like heroes for fighting in a war we don't need to fight. They aren't protecting anything, they're just helping a corrupt government steal oil and making a statement, shedding good light on usa. Another thing, you can say they are fighting terrorists, but look at the other side of the argument, theres stories of soldiers killing innocent people for fun and amusement, raping women and tossing grenades into houses for fun. There is also pictures on the net of us soldiers pissing on dead corpses of innocent civilians. The collateral murder video is just one example. Plus for those good hearted soldiers actually looking to fight terrorists, look at the collateral damage caused. Why do you think so many soldiers drop out of the army like joe glenton and then go under deep depression/suicide. A surprising number of people share this view, but don't speak out otherwise they will probably be alienated and seen as scum for not being grateful for men supposedly "risking their lives for their country".

But the thing is, it doesn't matter what they'e fighting for at the end of the day. No matter what you believe they risked there life for you. And you're right there are bad people in the military who do extremely stupid and ignorant things, but you can't just judge 99% of them from the 1%. Not to mention someone is just a massive dick waffle for making fun of someone who believed they were fighting the good fight so to speak.

HOW is taking a guy with PTSD to a gun range helping him? That guy needs hugs and unicorn plushies, not a gun!
User avatar #55 - gagster (02/05/2013) [-]
>Makes fun of natural disaster victims
>Gets butt-hurt over one guy
FJ logic.
User avatar #49 - pickledpee (02/05/2013) [+] (2 replies)
So they let a guy with PTSD operate a firearm? Is common sense uncommon in the states?
#56 to #49 - slenderchild (02/05/2013) [-]
i believe they were trying to use exposure to help him get over his PTSD

User avatar #43 to #30 - sirbutterballs (02/05/2013) [-]
