what if he got the wrong pit bull?

I really don't see why this is supposed to be amazing? Bully breed dogs are save for a very small percentage of them which is usually less than 10% of them have the capability/ capacity of being a violent/fighting dog. There are actually less accounts of bulldogs attacking people than other varieties such as, labs and dalmatians. The reason these dogs attack anyone. Its almost always a humans fault. Be it poor handling, training and abusing. Or just some dome **** of a kid throwing rocks at it. Bull dogs just get all the bad rap for it. Because if you were to call up a news station and say, 'A golden retriever just bit someone!' they might run it in the local newspaper for a day. But if you tell them it was a bully breed dog. You will have a whole swarm of the life sucking media ************* looking for any dirt they can and blowing it all out of proportion. Because anymore for the mainstream. The only good news is bad news! And they will never waste a tragedy!

((And now for gits and shiggles. A picture of my mutt! Not a bull dog mind you. But cute none the less!))

is that a weimaraner?
User avatar #32 to #16 - ironsliver (02/04/2013) [-]
She is part weimaraner and half doberman pincher. She has the silver fur. But all the red markings such as under her jaw, the paws and such of a doberman.

I had two dogs..
I loved them both but one day after my Pitbull bit my other dog (playing around not trying to kill him!), he's been more aggressive after (wasn't rabbies).
Later that same day, my Pit attacked my Dad (the one who pretty much owns the dog and snuggles it, the dog was his best friend). We had to shoot the Pit due to animal control refusing to take it. That was the saddest day ever... My dad had to shoot him cause we have a baby who likes to play with him and he just kept circling the back door waiting for him to come out.
The vet and police said that just blood can trigger dogs to be like that and its terrible.

The dog itself wasn't bad, he was a sweetie just something in his head went so wrong and it was bad.

Sorry for my sob story, just wanted to share.

There are many dogs like that. Like I said It only happens in a very smal percentage of them. But it can happen. In other studies it would seem that dogs that blood triggers a reaction in is more probably caused from improper breeding methods. Such as someone getting a pure breed dog from a fighting ring that has been 'cur-ed'? I believe is the term. That is when they are beaten in a fight and they are only good for breeding after that. So I am not saying your breeder did get a fighting dog! As it can come from the practices that puppymills use. But those are another topic all together. But I am sorry you had to put your puppy down. That is never a happy thing.

I think you mean pit bull, because that's what's in OPs pic. My pic is of a bull dog.

But I wholeheartedly agree with you. In fact, I've seen more aggressive little dogs like Chihuahua's then I have big dogs.

I've been bit by more Chihuahuas then Pitbulls. I think that says something..

Our two vicious pit bulls. One on the chair is part lab, but still mostly pit. And they are two of the sweetest dogs I've met.
