Not sure why I'm opening up to FJ, but I figured I would log off and tell a bit of my story in response to this comment.

I was in five foster homes before I turned of age. I've been mentally abused and physically abused (in more than a few ways). I promised myself that my situation would not govern me. To do that I needed to stop blaming people for my situation, stop feeling sorry for myself, and act on the present. Now that I look back at my past I can say that the evil I went through has made me who I am. Among the emotions that flood through my chest when I take a deep look inward, the one that has been my salvation was forgiveness for those that wronged me, especially if they haven't asked for it (all of them haven't).

During every first date or hangout with a girl, I would think about how she would react if I told her that I was raped every other night when I was eight or how I was forced to have sex with my brothers and sisters in front of a camera. I would constantly think about their hypothetical face and feel a mixture of frustration and hopelessness. I felt crazy.

Anyone who has been consistently sexually abused can tell you that you carry such a weight for the rest of your life, a feeling like your soul is always weeping but your body has lost the ability to cry. Anyone who has been beaten can tell you that you will always fear the sound of footsteps outside a door, that helpless urge to hide somewhere no one can see. Anyone who has been neglected can tell you that the morbid fear of rejection never goes away, that you will always fear the silence of an empty apartment. But I will tell you, as someone who has experienced a colorful variety of these hells, that shit happens and you can either feel sorry for yourself or move on and deal with the problems as they come.

I was an unwanted child with a shitty life... and I'm very happy to be alive. I know you think you're smarter than us, but let us make the decision for ourselves please!

Contraception has a nasty way of failing? That's why you do anal. Not ready for kids and would be a bad parent? Adoption agencies really aren't that hard to find. Furthermore, abortion is still completely legal for fetuses well into the third trimester.

If you're too good for anal (or oral) and you're absolutely unwilling to give birth, you probably shouldn't be having sex, especially if you know that contraception can fail.
