gay marriage is legal in Scotland. Everywhere else in Britain has civil unions. David Cameron said he'd legalise gay marriage by the end of his term, but a promise from David Cameron isn't exactly worth much.

The Scottish Government doesn't have that kind of power within the UK, gay Marriage is still illegal here because Westminster doesn't give a shit about Scottish views.
Scottish people, although stereotypically prejudice, were more in favour of gay Marriage, Religious equality (Excluding Burkas/ Veils, since that goes against removing you're hood when entering a bank etc) than anywhere else in the UK.

You completely misunderstand me. People are free to live their lives as they wish, but I feel that marriage should be between two people only. However my attempts to vindicate this feeling with logic arguments have been in vain, as my only argument so far is tradition, and I don't regard tradition as a real argument. The spreading of STDs wouldn't be prevented by only allowing marriage between two individuals, as most people have sex before marriage, and therefore that argument is invalid.
