Preeeeeeetttttyyyy sure that's against the law ._.

Not really.

It's not any different legally than sticking a kid in a corner.

Is that what your parents told you when they locked you in the dog cage? If you tell your kids to stand in the corner for being naughty no person in the world is going to get angry, putting kids in a cage however will get you fired from your job (if you are a teacher) the kid took off you (if you are a parent) and jailed (if you are a random stranger). So yeah...tell me how legally its no different to sticking a kid in a corner....

It's no different legally.

In fact, you won't lose your job, your kids will stay yours, and well, a random stranger would probably qualify as a kidnapper at that point, but a random stranger has very few options for punishing a child at all.

I'm going to assume you're one of those ********* that's against spanking too.

Im not against spanking, but you sir are wrong. I actually know of a couple who had their child taken away from them because they put their child in the dog cage when she misbehaved and i also know of a teacher who was fired because he put a student in a cupboard, im pretty sure if you get fired for putting students in cupboards you would get fired for putting them in a cage also.

The one in this post didn't.

Any punishment to the extreme will get you arrested, but just sticking kids in a dog cage, if done appropriately and with moderation, is both a legal and effective choice.

I happen to know several parents who have done it, all of whom still have their children, well most of whom, some of them have gotten jobs and moved out I suppose. No teachers though, although that would have been hilarious.

Its obvious the teacher in the picture isn't doing it out of punishment so he wouldn't have lost his job but putting children in cages as punishment unless you are in redneck country then there will be legal actions taken against you.

"How my teacher deals with troublemakers"

As long as you're not dealing with a bunch of stuck up pricks you can do this no problem.

My school had a policy where if two kids had a bone with each other they would give em boxing gloves and have a public fight.

I can smell your ******** from here kid so stop lying, for one thats obviously just a funny title, there is no way in hell a teenager is going to sit in a cage as punishment and two there is no way in hell your school would hold a public fight for the student that is HUGELY illegal.
User avatar #20 to #19 - traelos (02/03/2013) [-]
I'm fairly certain that title is serious and yes they did that at my school.

As long as both parties were consensual and they followed official boxing rules and regulations there's nothing illegal about it.

So much butthurt. Could it just be the student put himself there willingly for a project or presentation, and the title is just a joke?
