Eh, Gamestops in my area do a pre-release party before midnight. We had free pizza and a dj for Halo 4/Skyrim/Gears 3/MW3 launches. For MW they let people play the game before it actually released, held a miniature tournament for it and the winner got a free shirt. Halo 4 they had a trivia thing and the winner got one of the giant ass card-board Master Chief advertisements they had. Can't remember what they did for Skyrim or Gears though.

I only regret that I have but one thumb to give for this comment.

Yeah, proper understanding of economics and the morality involved in purchases is definitely what kills websites.

I only support pirating if it's something well known, and that is already going to make millions upon millions of dollars from the people supporting it, Indie games are my only limit, Like a lot of indie games, I'd rather not take money from people who deserve it for their hard work.

fine the, digital download pre-order master race. with steam i can preload a game that then unlocks at midnight, so, i can be playing it at midnight while others are queuing.

yeah . for xbox its easy . you mod the dvd drive so it will read pirated games . ps3 is a bit harder since you have to have a really really old version of your ps3 back when the ps3 got hacked for the first time . then you add custom firmware to it and an external hard drive connected to it and ftb the game to the external hard drive and run a tool called multiman and u enject a legit game into the dvd drive , my ps3 came with ratchet and clank . and then u find the code the disk has got on multiman and you enject the game you just ftb insted and boom you can play online on ps3 . the wii u hasn't been cracked yet though , but their is no games for the wii u really

I would just torrent an .iso and burn it to a disc...

on xbox they have stopped people doing that and you have to have a speical burner and you have to have tweaked the dvd drive . on ps3 their is no way to play online with pirated games unless you're using the above technique .
