The ending broke me because I'm the exact same way as Andy, more or less. I was a little kid when the first ones came out, and now I'm a college-attending adult. And at some point in life, we have to realize we can't carry these kinds of things with us forever. But it's what they've shown us that matters; hence why Andy went and talked about the importance of each toy individually.

****, every video game I've played has taught me some sort of lesson; the most important of which is recognizing that the world is a dangerous and miserable place, and it is our duty as humans to stand up for the sake of others.

That scene had some weight. I didn't feel that sad though, just knowing that they would never be killed off.
