This one time when I was 5, I was walking around town with my mother, and an old man came up to me and said "hello little girl, haven't you got a pretty smile? Go buy yourself some sweeties" and gave me £20.
I realise two things:
1. The situation could have gone drastically, horribly different.
2. I got paid for pleasing him, I am essencially a child hooker.

That reminded me of when I did that gig at my college's library.
There were these blocked off aisles at the back of the library, you couldn't get to them unless you unbolted a panel off the makeshift wall they put up(construction plans and shit). There was a strict no food/drink policy and I was always hungry because I could never have time to eat after my class ended and before my shift started. So I figured I could go back there to have lunch and not get in trouble. Then one day I was going to town eating my Hohos in what the workers dubbed "The Hidden Aisle."
I was enjoying my chocolate wrapped delights so much that I didn't notice the scuffling sounds coming from the next aisle. I didn't notice until it was too late and I saw books sliding out from the shelf in front of me. Imagine my shock when I think it's my boss, imagine the other girl's shock when there's a face with his cheeks bulging from Hohos behind the books she just grabbed. She shrieked a little and I thought I was doomed.
All I could do was slide one of my Hohos through the gap in the shelf. She took the peace offering, stared me in the eye, and nodded. I nodded back, and then she nodded, and then I continued to nod. Then she got books from the other side and covered up the hole.
She called me the Hoho Ghost of the Library from then on.
