darthmaulester (02/01/2013) [-] Clearly you've only heard the more popular Beatles songs. Their songs hold alot more meaning to them then today's artist. The Beatles have about 180 songs, just because you can compare their top 10 to Beiber's and One Direction's music doesn't mean that all their songs are comparable. Also you're comparing The Beatles (from 5 decades ago) to modern music. You're right that they weren't 100% original, but they certainly revolutionized the music of their time, the same style that One Direction and Beiber use with little change, showing their lack of originality.
