We've seen like three screenshots from an unfinished version of the game. Don't you think you might be jumping to conclusions a little bit? The screenshots didn't even look hazy or washed out. In fact, it seemed to have deviated a bit from the more cell-shaded art style of the original to a more create more detailed shapes and sharper colors.
