The one time I can actually remember having a lucid dream, I felt excited within my dream because of the fact that I realised I was dreaming, then I immediatly woke up because I was too excited

When I realized I was lucid dreaming I got excited too, I was with an old friend and when I said "This is a dream", he pushed me other and started beating the shit out of me as if he was some dream agent and I compromised the security by knowing, then I woke up.

Feels bad.

you can spin in the dream.
it helps keep you dreaming.
btw it doesn't say it obviously enough, but if you want to have lucid dreaming, you must keep a dreaming journal. without it, most efforts wouldn't matter much.

That's very normal, a tip I used is making a routine when awake to stare at my hands. So when I discover I'm dreaming I'll focus on my hands in my dream to prevent myself from waking up.
