We big steel bar stools at the bowling alley I work in, and we sit on them behind the counter. Recently one of the chairs had that part broken off, and all of us have their stories of falling over, getting frustrated or simply irritated by the fact that it wasn't there...

I'm 4'8 and past puberty. Low bars on any form of chair are a god send for me, especially bar stools...
