And plus even Bush knew the importance of tactical planning, and to not just rush in guns blazing, no matter what anybody said he wasn't a "shoot first, ask question later" kind of person, a plan such as the one to take down bin laden would have taken months or even years to plan to make sure absolutely nothing went wrong, while I do agree that the plan worked for obama it still wasn't good to rush in like he did, maybe rather than a raid on his compound some kind of infiltration mission, hell, a sniper a half mile away would have been a better choice.

If they couldn't spot the guy for a photograph, they're not going to be able to shoot him from a mile away either. Regardless, you've crushed your own argument. This source indicates that the CIA didn't know the location was the hiding place of bin Laden until Obama had already been president for two years.

You crushed yours even more, you just said that they didn't know he was there until after the raid. And they could have had a sniper camped out to wait until he saw bin laden, it would have been much less sloppy.
