this is why i see doctors as evil for what they do.

just because someone takes away your fear doesn't mean they are doing good.

and if anyone wants to have a intellegent debate on this then hey you are welcome to but if the only bullet you have is asking if i go to the doctor or not please understand what a bad argument that is and come up with something else

What exactly is the harm they do? Don't you have to do bad things first before you can be called evil?

grand scale. dont just think about family and friends. think of it on a larger scale

It's not an opinion. You really need to know what an opinion is before using that word. It was a statement, telling you to wait.

I don't understand why it is a bad argument, care to explain?

It's a bad argument because it makes them a flaming hypocrite. If this was truly their personal philosophy, they would avoid the doctor altogether and perhaps use holistic healing methods (or, if they were a true hardcore Darwinian badass, just not do a damn thing and let nature take it's course.)

However, our dear friend daname here boldly flies in the face of common sense and grammar/punctuation to tell us that THE DOCTORS ARE THE TRUE EVIL MAAAAAAAN, all the while reaping the benefits of modern medical science.

Or so I infer. I mean, hey, it's not like medicine has actually cured anything, right? That's why we're all still wracked with polio and syphilis, and believe disease is spread by unpleasant smells.

this is my issue with the arguement. if you cant attack the logic attack the person. its a cop outargument you proved it

Where's the logic in saying that doctors are evil? You presented nothing logical, only a personal attack on the folks in the medical field.

I won't supply your logic for you, sir.

i didnt say they were evil. but more the job of doctor is evil. people are good natured. however by saving everyone we are slowly weakening and killing ourselves by allowing genetic conditions that shouldnt be passed on are passed on. and we are living longer and eating more and using up more resources and basically are worse off than cattle by our own hurtful tendencies. We are like teenagers in terms of waste of resources and just because we CAN do something doesnt mean we SHOULD.
