I heard Putin made a propaganda video showing the poorest Americans, all fat with microwaves and Satellite TV, cars and such. The idea was to show how crap life is in the US, but the people it was shown to saw the video and wanted to live like the poor in the US. They then banned the propaganda piece.
I heard this once on the news briefly and never found a source for it, not sure if true or not.
