I live in Newfoundland, Canada. We have a decent amount of violence, especially in Vancouver. But around my area, there was $1000+ worth of damage done to a field of religious status, they were all busted up.

Not long ago, towards the end of 2012, some idiots got drunk and high, robbed a store, and broke into peoples homes(in broad daylight) and threatened to kill them, most of them were old.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but canada isn't the safest place. It's not the most dangerous place, but it sure isn't as safe as people would expect.
