Spec Ops is one my all time favorite games. Its the only game I've ever played that has actually given me a feel.

That game was honestly mindbending at points.... everyone should play it, not for the combat, for the story and the truely terrifying physcological horrors of war.

Two questions. Is it good, and how much is it?

Spec Ops: The Line may look like your conventional over-the-shoulder, cover based war shooter, but it's not. While most games like that are generic "stop the bad guy" plot, this one is different. You're a 3 man squad, labelled Delta Operatives, who's mission is to enter the sandstorm wracked Dubai, and evacuate any citizens you may come across. All that changes on one discovery. Spec Ops: The Line has one of the best narrative campaigns you will see, and also tosses in some morality choices in there, to bring out your humane side. Along with that, the game has some beautiful visuals, bringing one of the greatest cover based experiences out there.

It's $30 on steam.

Spec Ops: The Line. Arguably one of the greatest innovations in videogame storytelling in recent years. Highly recommended, especially if you're fed up with the whole modern warfare genre.

I finished it in 5 and was emotionally drained and satisfied. Guess it takes a more mature player to fully appreciate it though.
