I did like Bush's idea on Social Security. He wanted the tax to be optional so if you payed it you would receive benefits but if you opted not to pay it you would not receive benefits but you could manage your own money.
I think that's how the healthcare should be. An optional tax a subsided one for the poor that they pay with a scaled income tax on the rich. That way people like me don't have to pay 200% more for half the coverage even though I am in the range Obama said it would not affect :/ well below it to by 125 grand below it per year
Then a corporate flat tax that is low so business would not feel pressured to leave because of our enormous business taxes. Then have a scaled income tax :)
